What do I do with the Concentrates?

There are so many different kinds of concentrates that it is honestly hard to keep up! Don’t worry, we got you covered! Go through this guild to get the basics of Cannabis Concentrates!

  • One of the most common extraction methods is Butane (BHO) extraction. . This makes everything from shatter to badder and its more than likely you’ve had a BHO extract. This method extracts many of the other cannabinoids and terpenes out of the concentrate.

  • CO2 Extraction is another method of extraction similar to BHO extraction only it uses CO2 instead of butane. It also takes out most of the cannabinoids and terpenes. Many like CO2 extraction because it is cleaner taste profile.

  • Distillate is a style of concentrate that extracts everything in preference for the isolation of a specific cannabinoid namely, THC. Due to this, consumers and patients alike mention a different “high” from distillates.

  • Unlike all of the other methods, Rosin is created only through heat and pressure. That’s right no solvents in this concentrate! Rosin is going to maintain the entire cannabinoid profile, which makes it a great, flavorful concentrate to vape!

What’s the Deal with Live Resin?

Live Resin is a new method of BHO and CO2 extraction that freezes the entire plant before beginning the extraction process. In doing so, manufactures have been able to bring the full plant profile (cannabinoids, flavonoids, and terpenes) into the concentrate. Live Resin concentrates are generally higher in potency, have a stronger flavor profile, and maintain their aroma better.

Now that we learned more about concentrates, how do we consume them?
