Why Open Gate?
Open Gate: Cultivating a Dope Community through fashion and collaboration. Together lets open the gate on cannabis culture and spread it around the world!
When the idea of building a cannabis centric community hit me, I didn’t know exactly how I wanted to do that. Working in the Cannabis Industry, I have seen the fractured efforts to cultivate community and I realized they were all missing an important thing. They lacked a good space for the community to connect and they lack the ability to separate themselves from all of the red tape that comes with this new industry. I decided that what ever this was going to be, it was going to center around building a “Dope” community with the least restrictions.
Obviously good cannabis and quality products play a vital role in legitimizing cannabis and that is indispensable for the community as a whole. However, Open Gate’s intention will always be to build up the other side. To spread the love of cannabis through content, reviews, events, merchandise (to show off your pride!) and so much more.
So why a fashion brand? Fashion possesses all of the attributes that I was looking for when I wanted to start this community. Fashion is a driver of culture and has the ability to spread with less limitations. Fashion can connect seemingly unrelated people through a shared experience or interest. Fashion can allow people to show off their community as well as their major opinions and beliefs. Fashion is all about making a statement. Fashion encourages collaboration, growth, and ultimate creativity. To put it simply fashion is the way we turn this community from a “club” into a global community spreading cannabis support and pride through a simple logo. But we know that with that simple logo, there lay a massive community!

My main intentions for creating Open Gate: Collaboration! If you are a cannabis enthusiast with a talent for writing, art, music, anything, I want to figure out a way to use your talents to spread this community even further!
I want to do series collaborations and will be having contests and competitions on top of all of the various series I am going to release under the Open Gate : OG LLC Brand.
In Conclusion, I want to build a creative space where we can really spread this community and the people can have their voices heard and creative expressions seen! Through these efforts by YOU, the opportunities for the OG Community will be endless! It will be amazing the things we will be able to accomplish together!
